Exhibition opening in Dresden on November 5, 2019

With the exhibition, the memorial took part in the Czech-German Culture Days 2019. After being welcomed by the chairman of „Erkenntnis durch Erinnerung e. V.“ Dr. Herbert Wagner the Consul General of the Czech Republic in Dresden Dr. Markéta Meissnerová spoke a greeting. Then the project manager Uljana Sieber introduced into the exhibition. The Dresden actors Holger Hübner and Oda Pretzschner read texts by former politically persecuted people from Germany and the Czech Republic. The Czech guitarist Antonin Pevala accompanies the opening of the exhibition musically.
